How much does an architect cost?
Most full-scope homes run 8–12% of construction cost, fixed in stages so you can stop after planning if you wish. Small feasibility studies start from a flat fee we quote up front.
How long does planning permission take?
Typically 8–13 weeks after submission, plus 4–6 weeks of design and surveys before that. Our 92% first-pass approval rate means most clients avoid a second round entirely.
Do you take on small projects?
Yes — garden studios, extensions and compact interiors are a dedicated discipline here, with a streamlined process priced for smaller budgets.
Will the same architect stay on my project?
Always. The senior architect who designs your scheme supervises it on site through handover. If they ever had to step away, you would meet their successor before anything changes.
Can you work outside San Francisco?
We deliver projects nationwide and partner with trusted local engineers wherever site supervision needs a nearby presence. Remote design reviews run weekly by video.
